Performance of Fly Ash Concrete with Nickel Slag Fine Aggregate in the Marine Environment

This research aims to assess the feasibility of mechanical strength and durability concrete containing 50% nickel slag a combination 15% 30% fly ash with water-cement ratio 0.25 0.45 in marine environment. Four types concrete, namely OPC-sand (C) as control OPC-50GNS (S), 15FA-50GNS (F1), 30FA-50GNS (F2) comparison were tested 100×200 mm cylindrical specimen. The results showed an increase potential resistance at age 28 days. While 180 days, fluctuating changes found. compressive S increased by 36.9 9.3% respectively, F1 37.7% 1.7%, F2 33.7% 5.9% 0.25. Likewise, value split tensile modulus elasticity concrete. result was followed reduced porosity, sorptivity, chloride penetration indication better durability. Fly appears have greater positive impact on than water cement versus 0.45.
